With Blaine busy with the case it is left up to Kat to clear his name. Everybody over hears the shouting match that ensures so When the judge is found slumped over his computer dead Blaine is the prime suspect. District Attorney Blaine Evans life gets turned upside down when he gets called into the judges chamber and is told he has to take over a case that he wasn't prepared for. Once the killer was caught it also gave you a perspective of how it effected others which was a nice touch. I was no where near guessing who the killer was because not only was there lots of characters to choose from but several different twists or directions. I have no interest in pornography (which is a big motive in this book) but don't let that put you off because it is a cosy mystery and you don't have to listen to any sex scenes or descriptions. This is a very character driven story that just focusses on the mystery and what a mystery it is I have listened to a few books in this series (and yes not in the right order but that doesn't matter as each is a great standalone mystery) but I think this one is one of my favourites.
